Diagnostics and Team-Building Workshop
Our 6-8 hour workshop consists of a series of 6 outdoor challenges and a structured feedback session. Uniquely, our workshop accomplishes two things simultaneously: it is a fun, exciting and action-filled team-building session that empowers your team, and it is also an insightful diagnostics session that gives you an “X-Ray” of your team’s inner workings. Through our structured experiences and feedback process, we develop in the participants a keen awareness of what the team does or does not do well. This awareness enables a change in attitude in the team, and this change of attitude triggers a change in performance. This sequence of changes, which Carlos Carsolio condenses into “Aptitude, Attitude, Altitude”, is the heart of his “Big Wall Philosophy” that took him to his outstanding mountaineering achievements.
Motivational Talks by Carlos Carsolio
Carlos Carsolio is a renowned motivational speaker who has given over 1,500 talks to more that 300,000 people. In his talks, he shares his experiences in the world’s highest and most challenging climbs, his experiences as a paraglider pilot when he retired from mountaineering, and his most recent incursions into the realms of technology innovation and artistic expression. Carlos’ talks are given in Spanish, with a simultaneous translator.

Specialized Workshops
Based on the results of your team’s performance reflected in our diagnostics, we offer three specialized workshops, aimed at improving your team’s performance. Each one is tailored to the needs of your team, and each is a stand-alone workshop that can be done independently of the others.
Planning
Our planning workshop is customized for each case around a survival course. Survival situations serve as an experiential amplifier to make the lessons clearer and more memorable. Our survival course can take any form from an indoor simulation to an actual outdoors experience that confronts the participants with low-risk, controlled experiences that are perceived as more significant.
Communication
Our communication workshop is our most popular one. In it, we teach and train participants in a technique for non-judgmental communication that we have developed and refined over the last 20 years. This workshop has been used by our clients to improve communication skills in their teams, develop feedback skills for management, and even to solve, during the workshop, serious conflicts between individuals and even between companies.
Leadership
Our leadership course is based on Shackleton’s Endurance expedition to Antarctica. In it, we analyze key leadership moments of the expedition to draw lessons applicable to the work environment. Depending on the objectives of the client, we also present and analyze other relevant leadership cases and simulate leadership situations in indoor and/or outdoor settings.
In addition to the three basic management skills workshops, we offer two others that are more specialized and also more tailor-made to the needs of your project or group.
Sustainability Talk and Workshop
What is sustainability? Surprisingly, most people, including many specialists, cannot give a practical and really applicable answer to this question. Our sustainability talk confronts the participant with this fact in a fun and memorable way that immediately changes their view and attitude towards what the individual and nations should be doing about sustainability. We guide your team through a talk and/or a 6 hour workshop through the process of understanding what is sustainability, and how it can be addressed in our businesses and personal life. The workshop can be extended into a full process for defining and designing the sustainability strategy for a group or company.
Organizational Culture-Development Workshop
Culture change is always at the heart of systemic solutions that seek environmental, economic and social improvement. Through participatory processes, we guide your group to a deeper understanding of its culture, and to making choices on what aspects of the existing culture to strengthen or change in order to make the group more effective, successful and resilient. This is a bespoke process that we design for the specific needs and characteristics of your group, and can be as short as two hours or as long as an extended series of workshops to address a large number of issues and/or people.
